Why Kipu
Kipu was founded by two cousins who spent the last fifteen years building, advising, and scaling technology companies — across Lima, New York, San Francisco, and the Fortune 500.
We started Kipu because the strategy work that mid-large Latin American companies need is rarely served well: global consultancies are too generic, local agencies are too tactical, and most "AI advisors" haven't shipped anything. We sit in the gap.

Partner
Jorge spent the last decade leading data and ML teams at venture-backed companies — most recently at Drop and Unravel Carbon, after founding a Y Combinator-backed startup. His specialties include personalization, recommendations, search, and MLOps. More recently, he's been deploying LLMs in production — both to elevate the customer-facing experience and to automate internal workflows. PhD in theoretical physics.

Lucho brings nearly twenty years in data and AI as an executive and former McKinsey consultant, advising organizations worldwide on turning information into advantage. His career spans global corporations, Fortune 500 firms, and high-growth startups, where he has focused on building durable capabilities and helping teams scale. He works with leaders to make smarter decisions and move forward with purpose.
